Today is Thursday 16th Nov 2023

This day was started with a great good excellent morning. Cold, silent, bright sun rise. Event the day is a little bit quite different, my morning activities is just like another morning. Wake up, take a bath, and pick my child go to school. As another day i don’t take my breakfast. Not for a great interesting or diet program but because only for save my meal to my children. As i told you before, i am a fahter with 3 cute children, 1 Daughter and 2 sons. My oldest children is at 9 grade at junior high school, my second child is 7 grade at junior high school which is SMP N 2 Denpasar, the same school with his sister. My youngest children is at 2nd grade at elementary school. I Usually take my children before 7 in the morning. even sometimes i drive my car late 7. Their school starts at 7.30 so i actually still have time to take my children even at 7. The distance of our home to their school is around 2 kms, i usually spen 10-15 minutes to get there. As usually before we go to school, we play with our pets. two dogs namely Kiba the white one and Blacky the black on. Hmmm actually we still confused to naming my second dog. We still try to find a great name so wishing he will become the great, polite, obedient, and strong dog. so we sometimes call him (it’s a male dog) blacky, jack, josh, and so on. He is a mix dog between shistzu and our kintamani dog (local dog from Bali). We wish he will still cute, small, and clean. After play with our dogs, we go to school.

After take my children, i go to bank to print a Rekening Koran (i dont know what is rekening koran in english). i need it to fill my visa requirements. I have plan to go to Taiwan on 3rd to 9th December 2023. Our partner Lab (NER Labs) inviting us to come and join in southeast research meeting, with some other university consist IPB, UI, and some university in Taiwan. All the visa requirement which are: passport, my picture, our dean statment, invitation letter, my air ticket, accomodation, my personal identification card, my family card is needed to fill my visa decoments. It was so lucky when i try to print my Rekening Koran. I remember that i have alumny from my department is works at the bank. Her name Is Muni. i try to contact her last night to be prioritized at the queue this morning. and with her help my Rekening Koran just finish by 15 minutes without in queue line. how lucky i am. Thank You Muni. Muni is one of our outstanding student when she study at Informatics Department, the place i teach.

After finish my Rekening Koran, i continued to send all my document to my agent in Surabaya. Her name is Ibu Evi. She is an agent to help us to get Visa to Taiwan. She gave me a list of documents to complete, which are:

1. Passport valid min. 6 months
2. Recent color photographs 4×6 cm with white background, 2 pieces
3. Certificate from the place of work explaining the purpose of departure, date and guarantee of return to Indonesia
4. FC KK
5. FC KTP
6. Original savings book + FC or original bank statement validated for the last 3 months with an average daily balance of USD 5,000/per
7. Research meeting invitation letter from Taiwan

Unfortunately, the kurir is still closed at that time. for your information, i try to find the courier at 9 am. But unfortunately it still close. Meanwhile i have to go to Ngurah Rai airport at 10 to doing Monev (assessment to our students who doing MBKM at Bappenas and BRIN in Jakarta). So i need my father’s hand. I asked him to send it to me. First attempt is JNT near our home. Sadly my father called me, tell it can not send my documents so become recieved by ibu Evi tommorow. I try to find another port point by google maps. After some calls, i still can not find the right point. All the point didn’t take my call. So i have to find another way to send my documents. My last attempt is by call my sister. I thought she will help me to send because she is more fast, strong, and gercep (gerak cepat – move fast) to drive and go find the point. Luckilly she find the right point to send my document. TIKI at Jalan Gunung Bromo can do it. so it can be recieved by tomorow. wish me luck.

After arrived at Ngurah rai Airport, i go with our colleagues to Sukarno hatta Airport at Jakarta. We take off at 12.00 pm by Garuda Airlines. Our flight was a little bit scarry because our plane up and down, tilt right-left rappidly caused by the bad weather. Even our plane is airbus 330 – the big plane, i still have airsickness. Headache and nauseous hapen for 3 hours after landed. I grateful to landed safely. Actually im scare by the airline trip. But as long as safely landing happened, i grateful for that.

My first destination point is Bappenas. At there we met 3 of our student from Faculty of Law and make a monev-assesment. overall is good. they done their task with a great analysis. we proud with their achievement. After take some pictures, we finish the meeting. We thanks to all staff, for the politeness, happy, smile, and warm hospitality.

Before checkin into the Hotel, me and my team go to Sarinah Plaza to sight seeing, to buy something. But finally we didn’t buy anything. And we checked in at Hotel Swiss-Bellin Wahid Hasyim jakarta at 7-8 PM. after some nap, shower, i wrote this journal. after this i wanna write my paper to publish in ICHSE conference. wish me luck.
